WHOLE FOOLS
What’s in My Clean Cart
I did cart wheelies through Whole Foods today—to get MEGA stocked for the holiday weekend. Here’s what was on my hit list…
Never tried it, but tallow is trending. High smoke point, in a jar. Paleos are slip, slidin’ in the good fats & vitamins. The rich flavor supposedly cannot be replicated. Drizzle it on roasted veggies or smear it on your face — it’s a centuries old, heavy-duty skin moisturizer!
If you’ve ever flown JetBlue and avoid gluten/grains like me, those Chifles plantain chips in the snack basket are a godsend. But on the ground? This brand is the best.
I used to boil these on the stove but my mom advised: “Pop ‘em in the micro — they heat up in no time!” Fast carb turnaround for bottomless teen boys.
Order one of these to keep the potato party undercover.
Remember those commercials where peanut butter met chocolate and Reese’s were born? Maybe that’s what happened here? How pickles and sprouted almonds ended up together is beyond me — but they’re addictive. (Turmeric & Sea Salt — a solid second).
Eating clean does not mean eating bland — though seasons & spice help make everything nice. A squirt of Sriracha a day keeps the haters away.
